CHAPTER THREE

Came up Seaforth Channel to Milbanke Sound then through Percival Narrows and up Mathieson Channel to anchor and spend the night in Rescue Bay. Played one hand of Canasta. "Girls" won. Took Jackson Pass ( a very pretty Narrows)  where a ship had let off a bunch of American kayakers who were having fun. We saw two black bear on the beach (one was quite big).

Then we crossed Finlayson Channel to Klemtu where we got some nice pictures of their colorfull Longhouse on the beach.  Carried on up thru' Tolmie Channel  (Princess Royal Channel) and at Graham Channel we pulled into Khutze Inlet where we finally got anchored after the third attempt. Rainy and cold!  In the morning we called into Butedale and took some pictures of the old ruined cannery and the beautiful water fall flowing into the ocean there.
